I have/ my child has no previous dance experience, does this matter?

Not at all! At Core Centre of Performing Arts we believe it’s never too late to start dancing! All ages of beginner dancers are welcome in our classes!

That’s ok! We offer a free taster session so you can come along and try a class and we are always happy to discuss any preferences with you.

My child really loves to dance but they are not interested in exams or shows. Do they have to do them?

We offer many opportunities outside of regular classes that are great for building experience and confidence. Please note that these are not compulsory so if your child does not wish to do them that’s absolutely fine.

What should I/ my child wear to class?

It depends on the dance style. We have a set uniform for each class however, for your taster session any clothing that is easy to move in such as leggings/ shorts/ joggers and a T-shirt would be absolutely fine. Suitable footwear for a taster session would include:

- Ballet, Toddler Dance, Acrodance & Modern Jazz - Bare Feet

-Tap, Street/commercial, Fun class & Musical Theatre - Trainers

Do I need to bring anything to my first class?

Unless asked otherwise all you will need is comfortable clothes you can move in, suitable footwear and a bottle of water.

How do I pay?

Following your taster session, should you wish to enroll onto the class you will be emailed an invoice at the start of each month. This can be paid by bank transfer or cash in the first class after receiving the invoice.
